This is one of my favourite movies. Normally I don't like songs in a movie, but I love it in this movie. Gene Wilder is a genius but also pretty scary in this movie. Last night I saw this movie and brought many childhood memories. I always fantasize a place filled with candy and other delicious food. So watch this movie, it will be a threat.
I hope I will finally find love. I hope I can do all those sweet things I always desire. Walking with a girl under the moonlight, having a cup of cappoucino in a cozy restaurant, watching a good movie at the cinemas or simply staying home watching some old movies with hot choco under the blankets. There will be a day in 2010 that these pictures will come true.
I have this thing for women on black and white pictures. You can see their emotions even when only have two colours. Pictures are simple but yet so sophisticated. Take a look.
I woke up and outside it is snowing, we're having a white Christmas. The sight looks so amazing, cars topped with that powdery snow, trees with snow, children on sleds. Yup, you have to love this, esspecially with Christmas. Mom, is already in the kitchin prepping some nice dishes. I am responsible for one dish, roasted potatos. My mom got some chickin in the over, we got SOATO SOUP!!!! Also frieded tofu ( mmm ) rice and lots of lovely veggies. A little bit later my little niece will come here and unwrap her presents. That will be chaos, but still looks cute. And ofcourse tonight we are going to watch Home Alone. Yeah you are reading it well, Home Alone. It is one of our unwritten traditions. We must watch it every year!
To sum it all up, it is again a lovely Christmas. Oh and I got from Santa a mini helicopter! Thanks Santa, guess I was nice this year!
Yup, it is Christmas eve. I am hanging out with my parents. My mom is going to make a big pot of Soato soup. It's best! And tomorrow more awesome food, oven roasted chicken, lots of delish veggies and more!!!! There are already some gifts under the tree, I want wait to open mine! It will be a super fun day!
So folks, I am sick. I am having a cold, my throat is soar, major headaches, bleeeeh. I hate the cold! And the snowey weather isn't helping at all. So my brother went to the store and got some nice ingredients and I prepped an delish meal. Check it out, my roasted mini potatos with herbs, with blanched broccoli, grilled pork and a nice clean gravy. It was so yummie and helped me getting better.
The Runaways A movie about a tough teenager named Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) connects with an eccentric producer to form the all-girl band The Runaways that would launch her career and eventually make rock history. Also with the all grown up Dakota Fanning.
Iron Man 2 This will be an epic superherp movie with Robert Downey Jr. The first one rocked monkey balls, but this one will rock gorilla balls! With also a great cast, not only Downey, but Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Samuel L Jackson. Too good the be true!
Hot Tub Time Machine We also need a funny comedy, I think this one will be hilarius. Also a great cast, including John Cusack. Take a look!
Check out Michael Chiarello's toolbox. When you have a cooking-battle, these are the things you need in battle. Michael Chiarello one of the Top Chef Masters and of the best Italian chefs.
Yup just 14 days till that lovely warm day! Christmas for me means, family and food. Oh and ofcourse gifts! I can buy all kinds of crazy, special gifts for the ones that I love. And we also share this special Christmas tradition, We all watch Home Alone 1 & 2 and ofcourse National Lampoons: Christmas Vacation. Those movies always make me think of my childhood. Watching movies, eating a lot of snacks and food that my mom made and playing with my brand new toys I got for Christmas. So I really can't wait for this year's Christmas!
Take a look at one of my favorite Christmas movies
Abbey Road is legendary for it's recording, many great artists records albums/songs in that studio. The Beatles dedicated an entire album to Abbey Road.
The Sartorialist's blog is one of my favorite blogs out there. I esspecially love the women around the world, you'll see women from all kinds of continents. That's why I love his blog, all the different women have their own taste of fashion. He gives me so much inspiration about fashion and how people should style themselfs. Take a look at some of the latest cute women with own personal style.
Recently SO ME from Ed Banger went to Tokyo to punt a series of drawing for "Yes". He drew an intresting piece of art on the wall, only using a pencil and black markers. SO ME filled the three letter word YES with detailed words and cartoons. His vision of art is amazing, the letters look really straight. This video is put together with a series of photos and music you will remember from Kill Bill. Just take a look.
The second Iron Man movie will be epic! Not only Iron Man/Tony Stark will strut in a suit, but also War Machine/James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes. And ofcourse don't forget Whiplash/Ivan Vanko played by Mickey Rourke. Also Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D. will make an apperance. Yeah this movie will be a treat for all the fanboys ( including me ) out there. I am not sure that Iron Man and War Machine will be buddies in combat or battling each other. Let's hope that Rhodey won't be jealous at Tony. Too Bad that the Mandarine will not be in this one. Maybe Jon Favreau will use him in the third one.
