Dish dish: Surf 'm Turf

I was hungry, so I thought, I want bread and beef and shirmp. So I combined those three ingriedients in one swell dish. The Surf 'n Turf slider.

Dish dish: Pomodori risotto with seared beef

I love beef, so I wanted to make a combo with risotto. And it was really awesome! Yeah, I gained a new skill, making risotto.

Dish dish: pancakes

Today on the menu: Pancakes with fatty bacon.

I love pancakes, so I made some awesome pancakes with bacon. The pancakes are not sweet but a bit salty and spicey. The combo with the bacon was perfect.

Top Chef is an awesome programme about cooking. Basically, it is the search for the best chef there is. They make awesome dishes and they are a true inspiration to me. And the host is really amazing, her name is: Padma Lakshmi. She is a real 'not funny' woman!

My Droplet

This is my new friend, I call him: Bluepy. It's a Droplet, that I found in an awesome store with lots of other awesome designer toys. As you can see, it looks like a drop of liquid. And it is totally cute and he makes a good addition to my collection. 

Awesome Dishes

The last couple of weeks I made some awesome homemade dishes.

First, simple oven baked wedges with paprika powder and rosemary with slices of a beef/pork-roll with a bacon coverage. 

Second, plain white rice with shrimp/corn cookies and greens.

And third, plain white rice with beef slices and brocoli in a teriyaki sauce. 

The Return

Yes, my friends. I am back, after really busy period. I am back. I had to study alot, work alot and bunch of other stuff that made me busy. But I had alot of adventures and alot of new dishes, toys and stuff to please the dark passenger. Yeah, he is pleased! 

This is 2009, the beginning of a new era! Let's update my life so far. School, I am busy with the exams for next week, too much learning activities for me. Work, I found my groove and my boss is pleased with my work. Other stuff, I am happy in life. No, I still don't have a girlfriend, so ladies, I am waiting! Seriously, ladies I am not joking!

Pleasing the dark passenger

I know it is late, but I dont give a damn. The last Sunday of the year, I went out shopping with my bro and niece in Rotterdam, I was lucky to go to the Freshcotton Garage sale, it was crowded but it was very very cozy. I pleased the dark passenger with buying shoes from Vans/Marc Jacobs and a hoodie from Neff. Yes, the dark passenger was very happy. 

Do you see how crowded it was?

Yeah, I am holding a Mishka Jacket but in the end I choose the Neff hoodie, sorry Mishka.

Welcome to the new dawn

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 

Yes it is 2009, a new year with complete new stuff to do with new adventures. I hope this year will be awesome and much better than 2008. I wish everybody the best and all the luck of the world!
