Many are wondering: Where do you work, Miguel. Well, I work at a men's clothingstore. It's not a big of a deal, but I get paid. And this was a sad, not-so-crowded day at the "office". 

Hanging out with the Kid

My awesome niece stayed with us during the holidays, she loves presents and she got a lot of them from her daddy(my bro) and my parents. This little angel cheered everybody with her awesome giggly smile and naughty antics. During Christmas, she wore the most adorable dress. Check it out!

I am waiting...

Waiting for that special day. Waiting when that day finally comes when everything is different than others. I'm am not talking about Christmas, but since I brung that word up. First let's talk about it. Tomorrow that day is finally here! A day filled with gifts, food, no worries, family and love. Tomorrow I can give my parents special holiday hugs and show them lots of love. For me, that is what Christmas is all about, love and family!

So back to that day...

2008 was one hell of a ride. I lost someone who is dear to me. I went trough the darkest hole ever, I know for now how real pain is. 2008 was the coming of the Dark Passenger and the Madness. In a way, it was the complete wrong evolution. I really though that 2008 was going to be my year, but it went so wrong. Last year was totally different, more joy, more cheerfull people, but it will be more darker. Every year I say the same thing, this year will be awesome and it will be my year. But I predict, 2009 will be dark and more sinister than ever. My wishes are still on the shelf. My biggest wish to go to NYC is still unfullfilled and that special someone in my life is also on the waiting list. Yeah, I hope either one of these wishes come true. Maybe this Christmas it will be different, but it still an enigma.

As I sit here, looking outside, into the darkness, I feel connected with the darkness. The darkness is empty but has all kinds of things hidden in it. Just like me. I have all these emotions/feelings. I always hope for a light, a light to bring a better perspective into the darkness.

This feeling is far, far, far to deep for Christmas eve. So I put the feelings aside and be jolly, feel the love of my family and many more. I wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and an Awesome New Year.

Macadamia Madness

My favorite Ben & Jerry's icecream was Chocolate Brownie Fudge. But now, I have a new favorite ( I am sorry brownie!) icecream flavour. My favourite nut is the macadamia nut, it's a bit salty with a hint of butter flavour, it is glorious! Now Ben & Jerry made a new flavour with macadamia nuts covered with chocolate in a chocolate and vanilla icecream. Friends, I tastes just like heaven (since I really don't know what heaven tastes like, I am using my imagination) and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inner Battle

Who wants to take on me! The Madness! Nobody? Is everybody afraid of the Madness? What about you, emo? No, there is no time for Emo. Emo wants shelter, so he is has hidden himself. What about the Dark Passenger? No, the Dark Passenger is no match for the Madness. It looks like the Madness will reign supreme with this one. 

When the darkness fall, the Madness laughs the loudest! The Madness craves for insane idiotic things to do! The Madness wants to fill itself with anger and sadistic elements, this is the fuel that the Madness lives for. The Madness will only comes in weak moment. Lately, when I feel down, the Madness takes control. No, more Emo or the Sad one. But that darn Madness. Can no one suppress the phenom?

Well, there is one that can hold his ground against that huge force and that is the Spirit of Good Will. This spirit fuels on giving and not on taking, this spirit is not that egotist as the Madness. Especially these days the Spirit of Good Will is in an extra good mood, with buying presents and candy for everybody. So this is a epic between Good and Evil.

Will Evil reign high, or will Good overcome the Evil?

Noodles vs Pasta

Noodles vs Pasta, who will win? I don't know, I mentioned that in Amsterdam central station a pasta place is opened with glorious pasta, but I also love noodles from an Asian restaurant called Eat-Mode. Julia's has been opened for a few weeks now and I've been there at least three times a week, that is a lot. Yes, I am a sucker for pasta, but when I am in China-Town, I always go to Eat-Mode. So I think it is going to be a tie.

Ray of Light

My niece loves presents, so my mom gave her a princess flashlight and she loved it! She flashes everything, hihi, pretty cute! 

Revoltech: Dante

Yes, I finally got it! Revoltech's Dante. Dante is a character from the Devil May Cry series and trust me, he is awesome!!!!! So Revoltech ( an Asian Toy Company ) made the Dante character. This dude kicks ass and got lots of weapons like: a sword, guns and a scythe. After weeks of craving it, I finally got it!
