I have a huge crush on Zoe Saldana. She looks so absolutely amazing in the new Calvin Klein ad. I love her natural look and those big brown eyes. Hopefully one day, I meet a similair girl like that.

UFO

Today I made my version of a lasagne. I made UFO lasagnes. I had some discs of pasta sheets and I did a twist on the filling. I made the filling with chicken, peas, bacon, onion, garlic and cream. It's like the filling of a pot pie. To finish it off, I made sauce of milk, cream, flower, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, chives, salt & pepper.

I am a sucker for surf 'n turf. I love a great piece of meat combined with a tasty sea creature. So today I made my version of a surf 'n turf. This morning I made with my mom, shrimp cakes. Chopped shrimp in a nice batter with chives, corn, leeks and different spices. I paired the shrimp cakes with a simple clean steak seasoned with only salt and pepper. Ofcourse finished it off with a clean salad. The crunchy cakes tastes perfect with the juicey meat.

Going home and to see landscapes like these, makes me smile.

Boneless

Today I tried out a new dish. The boneless chicken drumstick. I braised the drumsticks in chickstock with cream, garlic, onions and chives. After the braising, I removed the bones and I bread the chicken through panko with some herbs. As the sides I had some oven baked potato wedges with chives, salt and peper. To finish it off I served it with a blue cheese sauce.
